Lost Productivity due to Farming around rocks

Kivi Pekka turns low value grass paddocks into high performing paddocks

Unable to grow pastures or crops for Hay

Too many small rocks for vegetable Farming

Need those smaller rocks gone, Kivi Pekka can do that.

Built Around What Farmers Need

Picks smaller Stones

Cleaning paddocks by efficiently collecting smaller stones bigger than 2.5cm that often remain after conventional rock removal.

Larger Hopper Capacity

Carry more Rocks before unloading to maximise productive time in the paddock. Spend more time picking and less time unloading.

Five Models Available

Choose a machine matched to your operation rather than compromising with a one-size-fits-all approach.

Efficient PTO Drive

Lower horsepower requirements allow more farmers to operate using existing tractors down to 60hp in size.

Handles Larger Rocks

The Flex Drum system independently raises while picking rocks from 35cm to 50cm in size. Ability to handle larger rocks while maintaining smooth operation.

Proven Rotor Durability

Built for years of reliable operation with minimal maintenance requirements. The Rotor Wings will rake in stones above 2cm in diameter.

Efficient Hydraulic Drive

Optional hydraulic drive designed to operate with low oil flow requirements. Ability to reverse Rock Picker from a rock jam.

Outstanding Value

Designed to deliver long-term productivity at low ownership costs.

Frequently Asked Questions

If a Kivi Pekka hits a reef rock, is there any protection?

Yes. The drawbar cylinder ramp has a “rock jump” assembly that enables the picker to jump up over the rock. This will keep the picker moving and prevent any harsh aggression to the tractor, or worse damage to the rear end of the tractor. The Kivi Pekka drawbar’s are designed to handle any large reef rock obstructions, but the Tractor’s are not. Therefore this design cares for the rear of the Tractor.

What maintenance is required?

KIVI-PEKKA stone pickers are designed for low-maintenance ownership. Routine greasing, inspections and seasonal servicing are typically all that is required.

Can you pick stone after you have sowed a paddock to pasture or a crop?

Yes. Providing you setup the picker to the correct height, you can skim along the surface of the paddock after sowing collecting any rocks that have been lifted from the seeder. The Kivi Pekka will leave a smooth finish and improve the “tilth” of the seed contact with fine soil for an even better germination result.

How long do wear parts last?

Many Australian owners report years of operation with minimal component replacement and low repair costs.

Can I purchase any parts locally?

All the belts and bearings are SKF branded. Therefore you can purchase these parts through your local suppliers. Speak to Will to confirm details of the parts before purchasing.

What tractor size is required?

Requirements vary by model, generally ranging from approximately 60 HP to 120+ HP for the PTO Driven Stone Pickers, and if you prefer the Hydraulic Driven upgrade, your tractor only requires 60-70 L/min of Constant oil flow.

Can Kivi Pekka Stone Pickers pickup Sticks?

Yes they can. Depending on the size and length, but Kivi Pekka Stone pickers are used around the world for clearing both rocks and sticks. Talk to Will about the clearing of sticks / timber.

Can I speak to an existing owner?

Yes. We are happy to connect prospective buyers with existing KIVI-PEKKA owners. We will match you with a current owner who has years of experience so you get the best feedback from someone first hand who has ample experience with our Stone Pickers.
